This interactive Unix Timestamp Converter workspace requires JavaScript. How-to instructions, methodology and FAQs are available below.

How to use Unix Timestamp Converter

Convert epoch seconds or milliseconds to ISO UTC, local date and selected IANA time zones, including bulk input.

  1. Paste a Unix timestamp or multiple timestamps into Bulk mode.
  2. Choose seconds, milliseconds or automatic magnitude detection and a destination time zone.
  3. Inspect UTC ISO 8601, local date/time, both epoch units and export CSV.

Worked example

Enter 1761998400 in seconds mode to see the corresponding ISO date, epoch milliseconds and local calendar date.

How the tool works and its limitations

Unix time counts seconds from 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z. The converter uses JavaScript Date values with exact millisecond resolution inside supported ranges, then formats times with Intl and IANA time zone identifiers. Auto-detection is only a heuristic; ambiguous historical numbers should use explicit units.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert negative timestamps?

Yes, within the supported JavaScript Date interval.

What is the difference between 10- and 13-digit timestamps?

Modern seconds often use 10 digits, while milliseconds often use 13; explicit unit selection is more reliable.

Does it support local time zones?

Yes. Choose from the provided IANA time zones, or inspect the browser-local result.

Privacy, compatibility and safety

Computations run locally using browser JavaScript. The tool does not intentionally send input data or uploaded file contents to Solvory’s servers. Modern browser APIs, JavaScript support and available device memory affect compatibility and batch size. Inspect the output before using it for critical professional work.
