Font Converter & Webfont Optimization Studio
Convert real TTF and OTF fonts into WOFF 1.0 webfonts, or unpack WOFF back into its original TTF/OTF container. Inspect glyph metrics, preview typography, process batches, and download CSS-ready ZIP packages.
Import typefaces
Up to 20 files, 16 MB each. Files remain in your browser. WOFF2 requires a separate codec and is not accepted.
What you can convert
TTF → WOFF, OTF → WOFF, WOFF → TTF/OTF. Existing WOFF files can be rebuilt as WOFF; TTF/OTF can be reserialized. Export does not alter font licensing.
Compression is zlib-based WOFF 1.0, not WOFF2. Fonts with unsupported table structures may fail validation and will not produce misleading fake files.

Convert TTF and OTF to WOFF online
Choose a local TrueType or OpenType font and select WOFF output. The converter reads its sfnt table directory, compresses individual tables using zlib only when beneficial, and writes a valid WOFF 1.0 directory and header. Select TTF/OTF to reconstruct an sfnt from WOFF. Download generated fonts directly or export a ZIP containing CSS @font-face rules.
Font metrics, preview, batch conversion and usage rights
The editor reads family/style names, glyph count, units-per-em and embedding-restriction flags where available. All font data is processed locally in the browser. Commercial font licenses may forbid modification, embedding or redistribution. You must check licensing before using converted fonts on a website.
Scope and limitations
This version supports TTF, OTF and WOFF 1.0. It cannot encode or decode WOFF2, subset glyphs, or guarantee compatibility with every unusual font table. Compression is applied to the font container, not to its glyph shapes.

Frequently asked questions
Can I convert OTF to WOFF without uploading a font?
Yes. File bytes are processed locally in your browser using the font table converter.
Does this tool convert WOFF2?
No. WOFF2 needs a separate Brotli-based codec; unsupported conversions are not mislabeled as WOFF2.
Will font conversion change its commercial license?
No. The original licensing and embedding restrictions still apply.
