SPEECH GENERATION · REAL WAV EXPORT · WAVE 24
Text-to-Speech & Voiceover Studio
Generate downloadable WAV with eight classic synthesis languages, or preview many natural-sounding voices installed in your browser or operating system. Audio export and device voice playback use different engines. Customize language, pitch, speed and style, preview narration and download WAV files or batch ZIPs.
Generate real, downloadable speech
Type or import your script, select your language and synthetic voice, and tune speed, pitch, amplitude and word spacing. The meSpeak speech engine transforms text into actual WAV audio in your browser. Device voice preview is a separate Web Speech API mode that may sound more natural but does not directly produce an audio download.
Voice quality, privacy and compatibility
Downloadable synthesis provides eight verified language-voice data packs; natural-sounding device voices depend on installed browser/OS voice services and do not support direct WAV export. Traditional speech synthesis may have mechanical pronunciation and limited handling of complex multilingual text. The speaker voice options are not premium neural voices and should not be represented as such. Use shorter scripts for fast processing on phones; downloads preserve genuine RIFF/WAV headers when supported.

FAQs
Does this download real speech WAV files?
The included speech synthesis engine generates real WAV binary audio. Batch jobs export individual WAVs in a ZIP.
Is this AI cloning of human voices?
No. This is a classic synthesizer plus optional built-in device speech preview; it does not imitate a person’s voice.
Is an internet connection needed?
The voice engine and voice data need an initial download. Once loaded, speech is generated locally.
Text-to-speech voices: device playback versus downloadable WAV
The built-in browser and operating-system speech voices may include many languages, regional accents and more natural-sounding speech, but their selection depends entirely on the device. These voice options provide playback in the browser and are not guaranteed to export an audio file. For actual WAV downloads, this studio uses the classic meSpeak synthesizer with separate language packs. Choose a language, adjust speaking rate and pitch, preview the generated WAV, then download it or export multiple lines as a ZIP.
Voiceover production tips
Use short sentences and punctuation to create pauses. Read back proper nouns and acronyms because pronunciation varies by voice engine. Unlike neural text-to-speech services, meSpeak is an older synthetic speech engine and can sound mechanical. Device voices might depend on network access. For editing a resulting recording, use Audio Pitch and Tempo or Voice Recorder Studio. Browser specification: SpeechSynthesis API.
