How to validate JSON against a schema
Paste a valid JSON Schema into the left editor, select its supported dialect, then paste your test JSON data. Results update automatically; use Validate input now to rerun the rules. Each error shows the failing instance path and the schema keyword. Download CSV or JSON reports for debugging and documentation.
What can this validator check?
The validator uses Ajv’s standards-aware schema engine for type checking, required fields, numeric and string constraints, nested objects and arrays, enumeration, composition and supported references. It deliberately does not fetch external schema URLs. The online workspace does not implement a full OpenAPI document validator and does not verify format-specific identifiers without the separate format plugin.
Batch JSON and JSONL files
Drop multiple files into the batch area or use the file picker. JSONL is parsed line-by-line, with record numbers in the diagnostics. Reports contain individual file names, validation status, error location and description. The editor never replaces your original files. Test large files in smaller batches to keep your browser responsive.

Frequently asked questions
Is JSON Schema validation performed on Solvory servers?
No. The schema and test files are read by browser scripts. This tool does not upload the JSON content for validation.
Can I test many JSON files at once?
Yes. Select JSON or JSONL files, run batch validation, then download a CSV or JSON report with detailed results.
Are all JSON Schema dialects supported?
The workspace supports JSON Schema Draft-07, 2019-09 and 2020-12. Remote HTTP references and format-specific checks such as email validity are not enabled in this browser-only edition.
Does it validate OpenAPI documents?
Not as a complete OpenAPI specification validator. It checks JSON against the chosen JSON Schema dialect. OpenAPI-specific structural and semantic validation requires a separate engine.
