How to use JSON to CSV Converter

Turn JSON arrays and nested objects into spreadsheet-ready CSV with configurable flattening and safe cell escaping.

  1. Select supported files from your device or drag them onto the upload box.
  2. Adjust visible format-specific settings, such as size, cropping or nesting depth.
  3. Click Convert Files and review conversion progress and warnings.
  4. Download individual results or a ZIP containing successful files.

Conversion process and accuracy

Object fields are flattened into dotted column names. Arrays and unsupported nested values are serialized as JSON strings.

Worked example: A product record containing details.stock becomes a CSV column named details.stock.

Limits: 12 files, 25 MB per source file and 100 MB combined; additional codec and memory limits apply. Original metadata, quality, layout or editable content may not survive all conversions.

Frequently asked questions

Can it flatten nested JSON?

Yes. Choose 2–5 levels of object flattening.

Will it handle arrays?

Nested arrays are serialized in a single cell rather than expanded into extra rows.

Does it prevent CSV formula injection?

Cells that begin with spreadsheet formula characters are prefixed with an apostrophe.

Can I convert multiple JSON files?

Yes. Each produces an individual CSV, with ZIP download available.

Privacy and compatibility

This tool performs file transformations locally in your browser. JavaScript codec libraries may be downloaded from external content delivery networks; normal CDN connection metadata may be processed. Source files are not uploaded to a Solvory conversion server by this tool. For preservation-critical projects retain and check the original source file.
