What does this tool do?
Audio is decoded using the browser’s supported codecs, sample ranges are trimmed, and the resulting sound is re-encoded as PCM WAV or MP3.
Example: For a 90-second recording, set start at 12.50 and end at 42.50 to export a 30-second clip.
Inputs are limited to 12 files, 25 MB per file and 100 MB combined, with additional format-specific limits. The conversion may change or omit source metadata. Save original files and verify consequential output in a compatible application.
Frequently asked questions
Can I export WAV or MP3?
Yes. Choose WAV for uncompressed PCM or MP3 for smaller lossy files.
How accurate are trim points?
Trim boundaries are aligned to decoded PCM samples. MP3 output may add codec padding at beginning or end.
Can I add fading?
Yes. Fade-in and fade-out are applied across the chosen number of seconds.
Can I trim M4A or FLAC?
Only if your browser can decode those files; codec availability varies by browser.
Privacy, performance and compatibility
This free tool processes selected files locally in your browser. Required third-party code libraries are downloaded from content delivery networks, which may receive normal connection metadata, but uploaded source files are not sent to a Solvory conversion server by this utility. Browser codecs, available device memory and file complexity determine what can be processed. Unsupported formats show an error.
