THE WORKFLOW, EXPLAINED

How to merge videos online

Clips with different frame rates, pixel aspect ratios and codecs cannot always be concatenated as-is. The studio normalizes footage into a common video timeline and can preserve audio when streams are present, with transitions applied when compatible.

  1. Add two or more clips and arrange them using reorder controls.
  2. Choose target canvas, framing, transition length and audio preference.
  3. Preview sources, render one continuous video and review joins after export.

Merging clips means normalizing their timing

Clips with different frame rates, pixel aspect ratios and codecs cannot always be concatenated as-is. The studio normalizes footage into a common video timeline and can preserve audio when streams are present, with transitions applied when compatible. This workspace uses browser-local media codecs for output creation. First-time processing may require downloading a sizable WebAssembly engine; conversion speed, available encoders and supported formats depend on the device, source file and browser. Review the exported video or audio before relying on it professionally.
