How to use WAV to MP3 Converter
Encode WAV audio to MP3 using adjustable 128–320 kbps bitrate, preview before conversion and bulk ZIP downloads.
- Choose one or more compatible files using the drag-and-drop upload area.

What does this tool do?
The browser decodes source WAV into PCM samples and runs a real MP3 encoder. Encoding is lossy, so keeping the original WAV is recommended.
Example: A 44.1 kHz stereo WAV file can be encoded at 192 kbps MP3. The resulting file can be downloaded individually or in bulk.
Inputs are limited to 12 files, 25 MB per file and 100 MB combined, with additional format-specific limits. The conversion may change or omit source metadata. Save original files and verify consequential output in a compatible application.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a real MP3 conversion?
Yes. The encoder produces MPEG audio rather than changing the filename extension.
Which bitrates can I select?
Choose 128, 192, 256 or 320 kbps. Larger bitrates normally create larger files.
Are audio uploads sent to a server?
No. Processing uses Web Audio and a browser-loaded MP3 encoder.
Why is my WAV unsupported?
Certain audio codecs or unusual sample rates may not be supported by the browser decoder or MP3 encoder.
Privacy, performance and compatibility
This free tool processes selected files locally in your browser. Required third-party code libraries are downloaded from content delivery networks, which may receive normal connection metadata, but uploaded source files are not sent to a Solvory conversion server by this utility. Browser codecs, available device memory and file complexity determine what can be processed. Unsupported formats show an error.
